What are the odds of seeing snow in Los Angeles? Hmmmmm...I think about .0001%! If you go to the mountains, the odds increase a lot, but in the city, the white stuff hasn't been seen since 1962. That's why it isn't a big surprise that some of my friends here have never seen a real snowfall. Isn't that sad?
As you can see, it isn't that easy to experience a snowfall in the City of Angels. But it is possible! You just need to go to the open area of the Americana shopping center in Glendale. Everyday from Nov 17th until Dec 25th, at 7 and 8 pm, they create a real snowfall. Well..almost real. It is actually made with foam. That's why if you are from Los Angeles, pick a day and go to Glendale and get a little taste of the true atmosphere of Christmas! Don't miss it! You can also buy presents for all your family and friends, and then go to Barnes and Noble and get some hot chocolate, or some other drinks at the kiosks and restaurants nearby. Там каждый день начиная с 17 ноября по 25 декабря в 19:00 и 20:00 создают настоящий снегопад (нууууу, практически настоящий... из пены!). Поэтому, если вы из Лос-Анджелеса, не теряйте время, а съездите в один из вечеров в Глендейл и ощутите атмосферу настоящего праздника. Заодно купите подарки для всей семьи и друзей, а под конец подниметесь на последний этаж Barns&Nobles и купите горячий шоколад или кофе в Starbucks, или перед в ходом в книжный возьмёте эти же напитки, но в Ladurée.
